Studio Policy

Tuition

Lesson length will be determined based on the student’s age, experience, attention span, and goals.

Tuition is due on the first lesson of each month.

If you know in advance that you or your child will miss a lesson, please let me know as soon as possible—ideally when tuition is paid at the start of the month.
Cancellations due to illness or emergency require at least 24 hours’ notice to receive a makeup lesson or credit.
No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson time will be forfeited and cannot be made up or refunded.

Practice 3–5 days per week.
Bring all required books and materials.
Bring a 3-ring binder with a pocket for extra sheet music and assignment sheets.

As the studio is part of a private residence, students and families are expected to be respectful of the space.

As the studio is located in a private home, students and families are expected to respect the space:

Wash hands before the lesson.
Keep fingernails trimmed.
Remove shoes at the entrance.
No gum or food (water is allowed).
Parents/guardians must pick up young students promptly at the end of their lesson. The studio is not responsible for supervising students outside of their lesson time.

A two-week notice is required if a student wishes to discontinue lessons.
